Description

This is the original and best Indian Textures stretched canvas print and is pure quality throughout. It uses the best of what is old and cutting edge and represents tremendous value.

We do not use cost-cutting gimmicks such as wood baton frames without tensioning pegs (as found in most supermarket canvases), MDF boxes, t-shirt transfer technologies (e.g. dye sublimation), paper stuck onto canvas, plastic lamination, etc. These things are often hyped as superior by others but although they sometimes have the odd practical advantage, the reality is they are just quicker and cheaper to produce and the results are more frequently disappointing or less durable overall. Some other canvases on the market will fade or go green within a year (we often get asked to reprint canvases from others that have done this).

There are several finishes your canvas prints from Indian Textures can have. They are very popular without a frame (aka "gallery wrap") with either printed or white sides.

We have also just introduced a great framing option for canvas which is very en vogue - a lavishly decorated and chunky gilt frame which we call "Old Master" due to its similarity to the frames you might see on classic oil paintings or portraits (think Henry VIII or Mona Lisa). It is both very stylish and fun to have your own pictures and portraits in this style - if you are looking for a talking point then this will be it. The great thing with our online preview is that you can see how your selected painting will look before you buy!
